Godman (sub-National Botanical Garden 1943/29), Steinkop. This seems to be a mixture of 2 distinct species - the resting stage and fruit are C. marlothii. Plant received October 1929 from the veld. Flowered 22 May 1930. [Corresponding Bolus Herbarium voucher has the locality as Little Namaqualand, between Bitterfontein and Springbok].
