Niggie Sante Burger, foreground, of the Aandster Volkspele circle, Bellville, was among the 500 people who attended a Day of the Vow gathering on the Groote Schuur estate today. The Minister of Co-operation and Development, Dr Piet Koornhof, delivered an address and members of the Voortrekker youth movement out a tableau. A number of people were dressed in traditional Voortrekker outfits.
