Botanical illustration - coloured - Gibbaeum geminum N.E.Br. Drawn from a collection made at Koenie Kuilen, Swellendam Division by J. Muir (3664). [Refer to Bolus Herbarium 132713 & Bolus Herbarium 132715; Muir 3903. In drought- stricken condition otherwise normal. The reddish tongue at the base requires to be brought out. Muir 3664 shows the same plant ruined by cultivation. The flowers were first described from 3664, however, so it is of interest. Both forms should really be shown, as an exaggerated idea is given by the latter].
