Hundreds of Mitchell's Plains pupils staged a peaceful march from Woodlands Senior Secondary School after a rally involving seven schools in the area. Eight police vans had earlier yesterday withdrawn from outside the school in response to teachers' appeals and an undertaking that pupils would disperse quietly.
