Description: Fourth generation of the Luden family, born and bred on Robben Island, is represented by the Luden twins, Clive and Graham, aged five and a half. Here they are on their way along the village main street to the post office to deliver a packet of sandwiches to their father, Mr Ian Luden, the postmaster. Mr Luden will be sorry to leave the island - he is an authority on its history. But he will be glad about the change for other reasons - there is no high school on the island. Children must go to boarding school or travel to and from school on the ferry.
