Description: While people in the Western Cape are delighted by the beautiful calm days that arrive between blasting north-westers, there is a disadvantage - smog lies heavily over the city and surroundings. This picture taken from De Waal Drive shows buildings looming through the smog, which was caused by a temperature inversion. The tall buildings in the middle of the picture are at Goodwood, with the Tygerberg and Boland mountains beyond.
