Workers' chain ... More than 26 000 clothing and textiles workers - all members of the South African Clothing and Textile Workers' Union - formed a broken "human chain" in 15 Peninsula industrial areas, and in Bellville, Paarl, Wellington, Worcester and Atlantis. They were advocating the inclusion of a worker's charter in a post-apartheid constitution.
