City Engineer's Department has produced this perspective illustration of what the proposed Cape Technikon complex may look like when complete - if it is developed in the heart of District Six. The city engineer, Mr Jan Brand, who was a member of the panel of speakers at a Cape Town Chamber of Commerce symposium in the Civic Centre yesterday, projected this picture onto a screen while stating that in his opinion the scheme was undesirable, for a number of reasons.
