The title page to a compilation of sketches Charles Bell put together after the Andrew Smith expedition. Depicts four tribesmen and a woman with a baby on her back and a small child hanging on to her cloak, showing surprise at a drawing of a warrior being held up for them to see by a man (possibly Charles Bell?) whose face is obscured by the drawing. Title taken from original painting.
