Description: Dawid Kruiper and Albert Bladweer under a tree. Dawid Kruiper was a traditional leader and healer. He was very politically active and was outspoken on a number of issues impacting San culture. This included speaking to the United Nations about the ǂKhomani San Land Claim and the theft of indigenous knowledge by international corporations. He died in 2012. Albert Bladweer, Dawid Kruiper's brother-in-law, a skilled lion tracker and former employee of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
