A number of rivers and lakes are also noted including the Orange River, Vaal River, Zambezi River, Lake Nyasa, Lake Tanganyika, Lake Victoria, Lake Chad, Congo River, Nile River, Senegal River, River Benue, River Niger and Lake Rudolf.
