Operation 'Mop Up' continued through the Cape Town area today and among the busiest workers were the road repair crews clearing the Bakoven-Llandudno road. Thousands of tons of rock and earth were forced down on to the road by flood water rushing down the mountainside. Heavy earthmoving equipment is clearing the road and Divisional Council officials say it will be about 14 days before the road is opened to traffic.
