The Montana development constisted originally of 250 serviced plots, on which 145 homes have already been built. A further 70 plots of around 600 sq m and upwards in size recently came on to the market and are selling from R8 000. Once these have been sold a further 80 plots will be made available but these will not come on to the market until all services have been provided. These include telephone cables and street lighting.

The old wine cellar at Koornhoop, Mowbray. It was later decided not to proclaim the house and wine cellar, as it would cost too much to keep them in repair, so only the dovecote and gables were proclaimed. This dovecote was said to be the only one of its kind in South Africa.
