Description

Residents at Clifton's Second Beach found their usually idyllic and panoramic sea views "politicized" on Sunday morning. Because of its size, the graffito was hard to ignore. The regional chairman of the End Conscription Campaign, Mr Nic Borain, said that though his organization was no responsible, he was pleased to see "creative ways" of voicing opposition to the South African Defence Force's presence in the townships - specially when other forms of expression had been outlawed.
