Two new cabinet ministers and three deputy ministers were sworn in at Tuynhuys yesterday by the new State President, Mr Marais Viljoen. The third new minister, Mr LAPA Munnik abroad and will take office next month. Ministers and deputy ministers present yesterday were (front row from left): Mr Braam Raubenheimer, Minister of Water Affairs and Forestry; Marais Steyn, Minister of Community Development, of Coloured Relations and of Indian Affairs; Senator Owen Horwood, Minister of Finance; Mr Hendrik Schoeman, Minister of Agriculture; Mr P.W. In September 1969 his membership of the National Party was cancelled after the statements by him and some of his followers that only Calvinist Afrikaners could be trusted to rule South Africa.
