Description: Chief Rabbi I. Abrahams (centre) handed an illuminated "Prayer for the Republic of South Africa" , in Afrikaans , Hebrew and English, to the Speaker, Mr. H.J. Klopper, at the Houses of Parliament yesterday. With them is Mr. Eli Shannon, a leading member of the Cape Town congregation. The prayer, composed by Professor Abrahams, was presented at the Speaker's request and will hang in his room at Parliament.
