Description: The leader of the Fingo delegation, Mr Isaac Tembani, displays the deeds of sale of the land from which the government removed the 3000-strong Fingo community in 1977. In the background are other members of the eight-person delegation. The deeds indicate that the land, in the Humansdorp-Tsitsikamma area, was given to the Fingos in 1834 by the British Govenor of the Cape Colony, Sir George Grey.
