Description: Found on the eastern border of the Old Bushman Camp, the Tree of Family is of great importance to the ǂKhomani San community and was both a resting and meeting place for the community. Members of the San community used to play here as children before they were evicted from the area.Images from this trip document the first excursions into the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and were a central part of the work on oral history and mapping in the first years of research.
