During one of the early research trips to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, a trip was made to two adjacent grave sites near a former settlement near Twee Rivieren. Several historically significant Bushmen are buried in these graveyards. While walking between these graveyards, the elders rest to catch their breath and the children play on the dunes.Images from this trip document the first excursions into the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and were a central part of the work on oral history and mapping in the first years of research.

Report on an artefact found near Lady Loch bridge between Paarl and Wellington, Western Cape, South Africa. The artefact, a spherical brown stone 2.5 inches in diameter was found on the open ground near a path leading to the farmhouse. A hand drawn map showing the location of the artefact is included in the report. A detailed map of the are is included.

Included on the table of co-ordinates is a list of areas of farm lots which have to be deducted from the demarcated figure. A note on the plan indicates the portions of forest which have been opened for felling., Lithographed in the Surveyor General's Office., The map has been badly torn and damaged. Some text is missing and there are substantial tears along the folds.
