A water well located West of Gemsbokplein in the Kgalagadi Gemsbok Park. This area is also a known gathering site for lions. This image was taken during one of the first data collection excursions into the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Images from this period were key in building a strong foundation for the oral history and mapping processes in the early years of the Land Claim research process.
