Description: Striking workers at the British-owned BTR-Sarmcol plant, use a play called The Long March to tell their story. The location of the play is Mpophomeni, a resettlement area where many BTR-Sarmcol workers lived. This early version of the play explored the dispossession and forced removal of workers from their homes to Mpophomeni. Later, other worker groups changed the play's content in order to focus on current problems.
