Handwritten paper on the history and practice of medicine presented to University of Cape Town Medical Student's Society. The paper was written by Arthur Shacksnovis. Shacksnovis graduated with a MA in Classics in 1918 and registered for a medical degree in 1919. He did not proceed with medicine but graduated with a LLB degree in 1921 and a LLD in 1926.
